You have the tools to make the universe your own and modify the game to suit your play style - add new races, biomes, dungeons, and quests - the possibilities are limitless. Just remember on these games that trophies are active which is both good and bad, you can complete the episode but you can’t complete the game (or the story) until you buy more episodes. Starbound has been built from the ground up to be multiplayer and easily moddable. I think that may be all of them but a lot of them that aren’t free have free demos or timed trials that aren’t included on the list but might be worth a try. Plus there’s quite a lot of free-to-play if you’re into that. There are really a lot of things available for people who just got a PS4/finished what they have and are looking for something to just toy with or maybe help them decide what to buy next.
